Clarence Peter Helck
(1893-1988) Peter Helck was a renowned magazine illustrator, with his greatest success occurring between the 1920s and 1940s. Helck composed mostly industrial or automotive scenes, with many popular Advertising clients such as General Electric, Chevrolet, and Mack Trucks, among others. He was the founder of Automotive Fine Arts Society and named the Dean of American Automotive Illustrators of the 20th Century.
