This is an original 1930 halftone print of Sir Charles Augustus Murray, an English author and diplomat. Murray was a student at Eton College and the University of Oxford. Murray traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio, and discredited author Frances Trollope. Murray then traveled to the lead mines of Galena, Illinois. This image is from an engraving by George Tobel.
