This is an original 1930 black and white relief line-block print of a sword from the Saga Age of Iceland which occurred from the time of the settlement of Iceland in 870 AD to about 1056 AD when the first bishop founded a church. The Saga Age is the time in which many of the sagas or stories of the Icelanders are set.
