This is an original 1930 halftone print showing traditional styles used to obtain homelike effects. (above) An office designed in the Georgian style in knotty pine. The furniture is typical of the period. (left) The Jacobean style inspired this oak paneled room. Carved oak furniture is Cromwellian in character. The rug in an antique. Watson and Boaler were the decorators and Harry M. Clawson was the architect.
