This is an original 1931 two-color collotype of detail from the Maestrà altarpiece, which was originally painted by Italian medieval artist Ducci Di Buoninsegna and hung in the Siena Cathedral in Italy for centuries. This panel depicts Mary Magdalene, Mary of Cleopas, and Mary Salome (mother of James) visiting Christ's sepulcher in order to anoint his body, only to discover that he had risen.
