A variety of historic landmarks are located in this image including, Analostan Island (left foreground), Lincoln Park (middle distance, on axis of Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and the Capitol), Mount Hamilton (upper left corner below the oval of the Benning race track), Hoover Airport (lower right corner at the end of the Highway Bridge), as well as the Potomac River, the Washington Channe, the Anacostia River, the Naval Air Station and Bolling Field.
