This is an original 1931 halftone print featuring an image of Mary D. Bradford, the first woman to server as Superintendent of a major city school system in Wisconsin. Mrs. Bradford was a teacher at Kenosha High School and became a member of the Board of Visitors of the Milwaukee State Normal School.
