This is an original 1931 halftone print of La Casa Del Sol-- the largest of three guest houses at La Casa Grande of San Simeon, California. The castle was designed by Julia Morgan, and furnished by William Randolph Hearst. The castle has 123 acres of gardens, 2 pools, and over 130 rooms. Photography by Dr. Erich Salomon.
