Travel with us across the continents as we join Richard Halliburton and pilot Moye Stephens on their Flying Carpet airplane expedition. From a French Foreign Legion camp in Algeria to the remote island of Borneo, Halliburton was determined to see and do as much as possible. It took 18 months to complete the journey, which started on Christmas Day of 1930. The pair covered 33,660 miles and stopped off in 34 countries during that time.
