This is an original 1932 black and white rotogravure of an example of an "ante-bellum" or plantation style home, the Bok Singing Tower, and the oak tree where John Wesley (1703-1791) preached in Georgia. John Wesley was a Church of England cleric and co-founded the Methodist movement. The state of Georgia is located in the southeastern United States of America. This state was first established in 1732 and was the last of the original Thirteen Colonies. It was also named after King George II of Great Britain.
