"The Dorchester"
This is an original 1933 black and white halftone print of a model of the "Dorchester", (nicknamed "Kitten"), the first steam engine locomotive imported to Canada. The Dorchester was built by Robert Stephenson and Company of Forth Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. The train was purchased and given her inaugural run by the Champlain & St. Lawrence Railroad in 1836.

This 80+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout. Small crease - bottom margin. Some light surface rub.
