This is an original 1933 halftone print of William George Bruce-- an author, historian and publisher for the state of Wisconsin. Bruce worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (then the Milwaukee Daily News), and founded the Bruce Publishing Company. He wrote several books on the history of Milwaukee.
