1934 Movie Film Actors Exercising Jackie Cooper Boxing - ORIGINAL CHM1

"Keeping Fit for the Films."

This is an original 1934 photogravure with images of movie actors engaging in various sports including: Jackie Cooper and Jesse Scott boxing; Bob Montgomery playing polo; William Bakewell boxing; David Sharpe doing gymnastics on the pommel horse; Ivan Lebedeff fencing; and Neil Hamilton doing pushups. This is an unusual original print item for the collector of movie memorabilia! (Please note that there is printing on the reverse.)

Period Paper has obtained a group of photogravures that were beautifully produced and inserted into the Chums Annual 1933-34, a British publication for boys. Few of these likely exist and perhaps none in this condition. Contrast is exceptional and clarity unsurpassed for commercial photogravure production.
