This is an original 1934 color print of the gate of Benito Mussolini's home in Rome, Italy. The caption writes, "Great gates of the dicator's home and castle, complete with obelisk." Mussolini rented this Roman town house from Prince Torlonia. Mussolini led the Italian National Fascist Party and was the Italian dictator from 1922 to 1943 going by various nicknames, including Capo del Governo, Duce del Fascimo, Caporale d'onore Della Milizia Fascista, primo Ministro del Regno D'Italia, Ministro Dell'Interno, Cavaliere Dell'Ordine Supremo Dell'Annunziata Santissima, and Cavaliere Dell'Ordine Dello Sprone D'oro.
