This is an excellent original 1934 halftone print of the Pushkar Lake, a sacred lake, located in the Pushkar town in Rajasthan, India. Rajputana is the historical name of the state Rajasthan. Thousands of pilgrims gather at the bathing ghats where the Pushkar fair takes place. The Pushkar Fair is an annual five-day livestock and camel fair which is celebrated with a camel race, music, sons and exhibitions.
