1935 Ad Cunard White Star Majesty King George Reign - ORIGINAL ADVERTISING TM6
In 1934, Cunard Lines merged with White Star Lines when the British Government offered loans to finish the Queen Mary and the Queen Elizabeth and formed the Cunard White-Star Ltd. In 194, Cunard purchased White Star's share and reverted the name to Cunard Line in 1950.
This ad features an image of the Britain's resplendent ceremonies celebrating the 25th anniversary of his Majesty King George's reign.
