This is an original 1935 color cover for Time Magazine for September 9th (Volume XXVI, Number 11). Time Magazine's Circulation office is located at 350 East 22nd Street in Chicago, and their Editorial and Advertising Offices are located at 135 East 42nd Street in New York.

This cover features Iowa's 26th Governor Clyde LaVerne Herring, a Democrat who also served as a United States Senator during the last part of The Great Depression and the first part of World War II. Herring also made fame by his on-air commentary about Orson Welles' "War of The Worlds" and he encouraged the government to screen material before it was aired, even though this was never acted upon.

This 76+ year old Item is rated Very Fine. Light aging in margins. No creases. No natural defects. Light scuffing. Small chip - bottom right corner. No water damage. There is some damage in the left margin of this cover due to it being removed from the magazine. Also there is some brown staining/smudging showing on the left side of this cover. In the right corner there is a green sticker showing as well.
