This is an original 1935 halftone print of a duplex surface broacher at the Cincinnati Milling Machine Company. The caption writes, "Its production is 630 pieces an hour, which is twice the output formerly obtained on a milling machine. On the ram that is beginning its downward stroke (upper left) a series of inclined cutters are mounted, each blade taking off the same amount of stock as was removed by its predecessor..."
