This is an original 1936 3 page article titled, "Unstruggling Artist" by Harry Salpeter. The article features beautiful images by Alex Brook. The article writes, "Alexander Brook is the art student's idea of a happy and successful painter. Not successful in the fashionable portrait painter's sense of the word, nor in that of the illustrator whose advertising posters may net him a cool and annual hundred thousand, but then, what art student at the outset of his starry-eyed struggle to conquer canvas wants to grow up to be a Frank O. Salisbury or a McClelland Barclay? Alexander Brook is what they want to grow up to be".
