This is an original 1936 halftone print of the storefront of R. Herold Furs in New York City in the fur district between Seventh Avenue and Twenty-Fourth and Thirty-First Streets. Photography by Fenno Jacobs.

Charles Fenno Jacobs (1904-1974) was born in Waltham, Massachusetts. He had a recognized reputation as a photographer by 1941, and worked for Life Magazine as well as Fortune. He is known for the images he took during World War II as a part of Edward Steichen's Naval Aviation Photographic Unit.

This 75+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. No creases. Image not centered on page. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is print on the reverse. Also note that the black frame around the image is not quite centered. It is not off by much, but can be seen in the digital copy.
