This is an original 1937 sepia photogravure of the slopes of Lettermore on the Ballachulish Road in the Scottish Highlands. The cliff shown here was where Colin Roy Campbell "The Red Fox" fell after being shot in the famous Appin Murder. This event was written of in Robert Lewis Stevenson's
Kidnapped. Visible in the background are Loch Leven and the Pap of Glencoe.
