Photography by Valentino Sarra (1903-1982). Sarra was an incredibly successful advertisement photographer and held offices in New York, Chicago and Hollywood. In 1927, Sarra was given an associate position at the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, and became the youngest employee they had ever hired. In 1929, he held a show at the New York Camera Club and his work was seen by Edward Steichen. Steichen was able to give him a job at Underwood and Underwood. Most of his work for Fortune predated his fame and fortune.
