This is an original 1938 halftone print of the Skoda factory making shells in Plzen or Pilsen, Czechoslovakia (currently in the Czech Republic). Skoda is still in existence and is known as Skoda Works. The company currently sells steam turbines, trolleys, locomotives, and condensers, but during World War II, the company was producing shells, as seen in this image, as well as mountain guns, machine guns, and tanks.
