This is an original 1939 black and white print ad for Plymouth Ship Brand Manila rope from the Plymouth Cordage Company of North Plymouth, Massachusetts. The ad includes an illustration of the Friendship Sloop Little Andrée, owned by John J. Gallagher, which was saved from destruction in a New England hurricane by a Plymouth mooring line.
