This is an original 1939 promotional ad for the RKO film "The American Way," presented by Max Gordon, based on the Broadway play written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. (Apparently this film was never made.)

Period Paper is pleased to offer an exceptionally rare and exclusive collection of lithographed promotional flyers from RKO (Radio-Keith-Orpheum) Pictures in 1939 for the 1939-1940 film season. Lithographed on both sides of heavy laid paper stock and bound, the flyers were sent to theatre owners and industry executives. These stunning flyers are exceptional in their quality, color saturation, production, and condition. This is a wonderful opportunity to own an original piece of movie history from the fabulous "Golden Age of Hollywood."

This 72+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. No aging. No creases. No tears. No water damage. There is a very slight wrinkle in the top left corner. Otherwise, very well preserved. An excellent image for framing.
