This is an original 1939 black and white in-text wood engraving of the Kantharos (Centaur cup) found during the excavation of the buried city of Pompeii. This design was found on two cups in casa dei vasi d'argento (House of Silver Vases) and have since been on display at Museo Archeologico Nazionale of Naples.
