This is an original 1941 halftone print titled, "The Double Dream of Spring," originally painted in 1915.

Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978) was a pre-Surrealist and Surrealist painter born in Volos, Greece. He founded the art movement, Scuola Metafisica, and is known for his metaphysical and dreamlike images. De Chirico won much praise for his works, and is remembered for his early paintings from 1909 to 1919.
