This is an original 1943 halftone print map of The Pearl Coast from 1510 to 1515 AD. The map shows an area that includes present day Venezuala and Panama. The Pearl Coast supplied early 16th century Spain with pearls, gold, and Indian slaves. This map also marks the route of Spanish Conquistador Vasco Nunez de Balboa.
