Mary Cassatt

Mary Cassatt (1844-1926) was an American painter known for her Impressionist style, and her portrayal of women with children. She studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and since women could not study at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, she took private lessons from the artists there.
