This is an original 1944 two-page black and white print article (two single-sided pages) by S.R. Winters and illustrated by J. Eaton Gruettner about several aeronautic engineering trends in World War II era fighter and bomber planes, including; cluster bombs, air-rotated landing wheels, automatic bomb release, gun recoil mechanisms, dual engines and propellers, stratosphere oxygen masks for pilots, and controllable wing fighter planes.
