This is an original 1944 black and white photogravure of the Quimper Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Corentin de Quimper) which is located in the town of Quimper in Brittany, France. This Roman Catholic cathedral was built in the Gothic style and was the site of a fire in 1620. The bell tower was burned in that fire and the townspeople claimed to have seen a green devil in the flames.
