This is an original 1944 color print of Canadians manning an anti-aircrafter battery while they watch enviously to a British bombing mission over the English Channel. The Canadian War Artists Committee appointed six officers to paint the actions of the Canadian Army overseas. This image was created by Lieutenant C. F. Comfort.
