This is an original 1945 halftone print portrait of Ralph Edward Flanders walking in front of the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. At the time of this image, Flanders was the president of the Federal Reserve Bank and of Vermont's Jones & Lamson Machine Company as well as the Bryant Chucking Grinder Company. He also served as Vermont's United States Senator from 1946 to 1959.
