This is an original 1945 halftone print of Brigadier General Ralph M. Immell and Colonel Henri Coudraux. Immell had worked in French Morocco, Algeria and Italy and Coudraux had worked with the French Army during and since the first World War.
"Conad History" (Continental Advance) was created to preserve the history of the United States Army supply forces, and to provide a basis for future studies by the United States War Department. The book covered the continental advance, communications zones, the European theater of operations, and the United States Army during 1944 and 1945. The Conad staff began in Africa and traveled to central Europe where they finished.
