The caption writes, "The Narcissus Pool is located in a seventh-floor tearoom in Marshall Field's big store in State Street. It is inhabited by exceptionally large goldfish; and the store likes the idea that they glint in the earliest self-recollection of more than a few grown-up, far-off Chicagoans."
