This is an original 1949 halftone print of the ruins of Hammer Point and the ancient Medieval Hammershus Castle on the coast of North Borhholm in Denmark. The original castle was constructed during the 13th century. Unfortunately, the fortress was partly destroyed around 1750, though it is said to have been partially restored around 1900.
