This is an original 1950 black and white print ad for Schweppes Ginger Beer by Heublein Food Importing. Heublein produced and distributed alcoholic beverages and food and was considered the most stable company to invest in financially during the 60s and 70s. Heublin was founded by hotel and restaurant owner Andrew Heublein around 1862. The company began making A1 Steak Sauce, but when the business was passed down to Andrew's son, Gilbert F. Heublein, it started selling ready-made cocktails. Later, it acquired the rights to famous liquor brands such as Smirnoff Vodka, Jose Cuervo, Guinness, Rose's Lime Juice and Perrier bottled water. The company also acquired the rights to Grey Poupon and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
