This is an original 1952 monochrome in-text lithograph of the Battle for the Belgian Canals on the Western Front of World War II, in early September, 1944. Combined British and American forces pushed the Axis from Belgium, over multiple water channels, and repulsing numerous counter offensives by the Germans.
