This is an original 1953 black and white halftone print of a variety of antique 18th century German household tile designs and patterns. The originals of numbers 1-3, 5, 6, and 8-18 were held in the State Museum (Castle Museum) in Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, while the originals of numbers 4 and 7 were held in the Augustine Museum in Freiburg, Breisgau, Germany.
1.-3. 1780 stove tiles, native to Rippoldsried, Baden, Germany.
4. and 7. Late 18th century tiles (2), native to Black Forest, Germany.
5., 6., and 8.-14. Like No. 1, dated 1795, native to Oberriexingen, Vaihingen, Enz, Germany.
15.-18. Like No. 1, dated 1784, native to Friolzheim, Pforzheim, Baden, Germany.

This 58+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. Light creasing. No natural defects. No tears. No water damage.
