Period Paper has obtained a lovely set of cat and kitten drawings by artist Clare Turlay Newberry. The artist says of her fascination for cats, "There is something special in my feeling for cats, all cats,....a feeling I have for no other creature. All true cat lovers will know what I mean when I say there is a mystery in this emotion. It is a kind of adoration, almost a cult." Done in charcoal, crayon, pencil, wash, or pen and ink, each print is a charming framable image sure to appeal to any cat fancier.
