1957 Offset Lithograph Mountain Landscape Glarus Ernest Ludwig Kirchner XAP9

This is an original 1957 offset lithograph of the mountainous landscape near Glarus by Ernest Ludwig Kirchner.

Kirchner was a part of the avant-garde, modernist movement called Expressionism. It originated in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century and remained popular during the Weimar culture in the 1930s. It aims to present the world from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically for emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas.
