This is an original 1964 color print ad for the Midland Bank of England and Wales which features two birds: the Bee-eater; and the Rosy Starling or Rose-Colored Starling or Pastor. In the 1960's the Bank ran an ad campaign series, the "Rarities of Wild Life," with paintings of artist John Leigh-Pemberton. The Bank is now part of HSBC Holdings.
