This is an original 1967 duotone halftone print of "Mountain Man" by Sylvia Snowden.

Snowden studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine, Le Grande Chaumier in Paris and Howard University. She also taught at Howard Unviersity, Yale and Cornell. Her works have been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Aert, the Women's Museum, the Montclair Art Museum, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum at Cornell University, the Heckscher Museum of Art and more. Her works have also been exhibited internationally, including in Chile, Ethiopia, Australia, France, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Bahamas and Japan.
