"Pawnee Bill's Historic Wild West."

This is a 1976 color reproduction of a poster that was created in 1894 and shows an interesting full view of Pawnee Bill's Wild West Arena and show complete with a circle of wagons, tepees, bucking horses, trick riding, acrobats, musicians, and buffalo. (Note the canvas awning protecting the audience, but not the performers from the elements!)

Period Paper is pleased to offer a wonderful collection of prints of posters advertising Buffalo Bill's Wild West shows. William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody (1846 Ð 1917) was an American soldier and buffalo hunter and is perhaps best known as a showman. A colorful figure, his name is synonymous with the American Old West. This is a collection that will be of interest to collectors of western Americana as well as to graphic design artists. Please note that these prints are 1976 reproductions of the original posters. These fabulous prints would look excellent framed.
