This is a 1976 black and white reproduction of a color poster that was created in 1885 to advertise W. F. Carver's Wild West. William Franklin Carver, "Evil Spirit," was a one-time partner of Buffalo Bill.

William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody (1846 Ð 1917) was an American soldier and buffalo hunter and is perhaps best known as a showman. A colorful figure, his name is synonymous with the American Old West. This is a collection that will be of interest to collectors of western Americana as well as to graphic design artists.
