This is an original 1984 color print of seven rails: the Water's Crake (top: male left, female right), found only in eastern Madagascar; the Buffspotted Crake (middle: male left, female right), widespread in Africa; the Whitewinged Crake (bottom: male left, female right), commonly found in the Ethiopian highlands; and the Chestnut-tailed Crake (bottom) found from South Africa to western Kenya.
Period Paper is pleased to offer a group of lovely color prints of birds of the family Rallidae. Commonly called rails, they are small-to-medium sized birds which are mostly associated with marshes or wetland habitats.
