This is an original 1984 color print of three rails: the Graynecked Wood Rail (top), found in tropical America; the Brown Wood Rail (middle), found in mangroves and forests from Colombia to southwestern Ecuador; and the Little Wood Rail (bottom), found in eastern Brazil.
Period Paper is pleased to offer a group of lovely color prints of birds of the family Rallidae. Commonly called rails, they are small-to-medium sized birds which are mostly associated with marshes or wetland habitats.
