1984 Print Giant Wood Slatybreasted Rail Bird Lansdowne - ORIGINAL BD1

021021_BD1_005

This is an original 1984 color print of three rails: the Giant Wood Rail (top), found in the marshes of Brazil and Argentina; the Slatybreasted Wood Rail (middle), a forest-dwelling bird of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina; and the Rufousnecked Wood Rail (bottom), found in the dense forest and mangrove swamps of coastal Mexico and northern South America.

Period Paper is pleased to offer a group of lovely color prints of birds of the family Rallidae. Commonly called rails, they are small-to-medium sized birds which are mostly associated with marshes or wetland habitats.
