This is an original 1984 color print of three rails: the Nkulenga Rail (top), found in the equatorial regions of western Africa; the Chestnut Rail (middle), found in northern Australia and the Aru Islands; and Rouget's Rail (bottom), found only in Ethiopia.
Period Paper is pleased to offer a group of lovely color prints of birds of the family Rallidae. Commonly called rails, they are small-to-medium sized birds which are mostly associated with marshes or wetland habitats.
