This is an original 1984 color print of four rails: the Whitethroated Crake (top), found from Honduras to Colombia; the Rufous-Sided Crake (upper left), found from Venezuela to northern Argentina; the Red-and-White Crake (lower right), found in South America; and the Greybreasted Crake (bottom), found in tropical America.

Period Paper is pleased to offer a group of lovely color prints of birds of the family Rallidae. Commonly called rails, they are small-to-medium sized birds which are mostly associated with marshes or wetland habitats.
